We have been told of various plans that local companies are drawing up for food supplies during this period of social isolation.
If you hear of anything that might be of use to other parishioners please let us know so we can keep this up-to-date.
Many thanks to the Sally and Lyndis of the Broadhembury Parish Magazine for their help in getting this information.

Broadhembury Village Shop and Post Office
Broadhembury Village Shop and Post Office will take orders for essentials over the phone (01404 841201). These can be picked up by friends/helpers from the shop or, if you leave a plastic lidded box with your name on it just outside the village shop, your order will be put in the box ready for pick-up.
Fresh food, such as bread and milk, is ordered in regularly by the shop. If you want any of these items, place your order before the orders are made by the shop to ensure your needs are met.
Bread orders are placed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at midday. Milk on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am.
Sausages, mince etc same as bread orders. Cheese and pate by Wednesday midday.
There will, of course, still be bread, milk etc available as usual but if ordered, people can be sure of getting what they require.
NB. From now on the village shop will be limiting the number of people in the shop at any one time to 2. This is to allow for social distancing and to keep customers safe. This may mean that you have to wait outside for a few minutes. We would all be grateful if you could respect this limit.
