Latest news for 2021
Great News! This will take place on Saturday, May 8th, between 10am and 12 noon. Please could you aim to get your plants ready for this date. Full details of the arrangements will follow as soon as everything is firmed up. We aren’t quite sure what format it will take yet but it is likely to be a bit different! It’s a great time to divide perennials at the moment, half hardy annuals and vegetable seedlings seem to sell particularly well!
Future Meetings:The committee have thought long and hard about how best to hold future meetings, within the current restrictions, and in order to keep everyone safe. At present, we have decided that the meeting on 2nd June, with Richard Hawswood, who will be talking on ‘Successes and Failures with Alpines’, how to grow alpines in the garden, will go ahead via Zoom and we will send out the link for the meeting shortly beforehand. Sadly, we have decided to cancel the Garden Club Show this year.
We will keep you updated as to how we are going to continue in August but really hope that we may be able to meet up again properly in September. Of course, everyone’s safety, and keeping within the restrictions must come first.
